Types of Persimmons

  • Rojo Brillante (Persimón): Firm flesh, deep orange skin, and excellent post-harvest performance. Highly appreciated in Europe.
  • Fuyu: Non-astringent, sweet, and crisp when firm. Perfect for snacking and salads.
  • Hachiya: Astringent until fully ripe; ultra-creamy pulp for baking and spoonable desserts.
